AxiomSL’s 2012 EMEA user meeting was hosted by Credit Suisse and focused on the many regulatory changes underway in 2012 including the implementation of COREP, FINREP and CRD IV in view of the January 1rst 2013 deadline.

Senior representatives from the FSA, Credit Suisse, and AxiomSL presented a range of topics including: a general overview of the regulatory changes and the EBA and FSA implementation timelines; a cross industry survey highlighting how institutions were gearing up to address the changes; Credit Suisse’s approach and high level plan and an overview of AxiomSL’s 2011 enhancements and future investment roadmap.

Faridah Pullara, FSA Reporting Policy Manager, presented the FSAs’ current view of the upcoming CRD IV reporting updates, FSA reporting requirements in 2013, and key themes from EBA CP50 including outline of COREP and FINREP changes.

Matt Pettican, FA UK Regulatory Reporting, at Credit Suisse presented a unique perspective of Credit Suisse’s understanding of the upcoming changes and an overview of how Credit Suisse will leverage AxiomSL in delivery of COREP and FINREP reporting in 2013, one of many reporting areas Credit Suisse currently uses or plan to use AxiomSL’s platform to deliver. AxiomSL then presented results of its 2012 industry and common concerns.

The meeting concluded with AxiomSL highlighting the platform improvements delivered in 2011 and planned in 2012. These included integration with Business Process Management, the new Web-enabled Dashboard and improvements to performance and cross-jurisdiction implementations. The audience included JPMorgan, Nomura, Barclays, Jefferies, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, RBS, UBS and Royal Bank of Canada.
